Yesterday was a long day.

Woke up very early in the morning, not for swimming but for going to my little brother's school for Parent-teacher meeting. I know I am not a parent but basically I am there to translate just in case my parent's English language cannot make it. Hahaha. Let the pictures do some talking first.









Hmm.. nothing much right. Just a normal neighbourhood school. Not to me though. It is my brother's primary school now, but it also WAS my primary school. Hahaha. It sure brings back lots of memories for me. Looking at the canteen, the hall, basketball court brings me back long time ago, where I was just like my brother. In primary school. My brother's form teacher this year is a teacher that taught me before.. In primary 5, music I think. She remembers teaching me, but vaguely only. What's funny is she realized that she's old when I told her I graduated 7 years ago. Hahaha. Of course, being me at the basketball court, natural response is jumping and I could reach the basketball rim with little effort. Whoa. I seriously grown taller man. *Sigh of relive*. LOL.

After meeting the teachers, it is breakfast! Ate and went to look visit my great-grandmother who was discharged for a month or so already.

I only took one picture with her. But I'm too lazy to post the last one. Maybe next time bah. Hahaha.

The term tests are this coming week but I am already looking forward to the next week. Holidays mah. How can we not look forward to holidays right? Definitely, I will need to study hard though. I did quite well for the PMT term test that I got cheated by my teacher and I am not gonna waste it. I shall work hard!!

Urgh. H1N1 finally hit Singapore already. It was pretty much expected and we can't really do anything about it. All we can do is just stay vigilant and make sure we stay healthy.

People that are prone to getting sick easily, please take care of yourselves alright? You all know who you all are, just be careful.

After school today. Had dinner at Simei's Eighteen Chef. Forever Eighteen Chef. Why? Because Alex always ask us to go. Lol. I don't know what to say lah. However, today I was kinda glad that we went to eat there because there was a new staff there. A young girl =o. She's kinda blur but who cares, the important thing is she's cute. LOL. I think we can go eat Eighteen Chef everyday already. Opps!! I'm not supposed to look at girls, or somebody would scold me =P.

Went back to White Sands to play arcade awhile. Jubeat got people playing. No choice. Basketball it is. Alamak.. See the score sian 1/2 already. *Record: 729*.
And I'm only playing like. 630-680. Crazy person. Saw him play and he is retarded although I am not in a very good position to say that. Hahaha. Still got to play Jubeat in the end and I sure need more practice..

Saw somebody who looked very ALIKE to somebody I know. I think I recognize the wrong person in the end because apparently that wasn't who I thought she was. Maybe it's her twin sister? But from what I know, this person don't have sister ah, only 2 brothers. Hahaha.

Tomorrow's no school Friday is gone again, because I have to go to school for GMP meeting. The group wants to finish question 1 and 2 in preparation for Term test on the 8th June. Talking about 8th June, GMP got changed to that day. The first day of my holidays. There goes my perfect weekend. =(

Alright. I'm going off now to sleep, or else tomorrow no energy to do project.

Haha. Inspiring? I don't know. But apparently WE, the people who are born in the 1990s are labeled as the "lost generation". So we are now supposed to work harder and care for people around us more? Save the earth? Yeah, provided I have the time. I can't even sleep enough to save myself. I will most likely try my best at least. Lol.

Enough with the inspiring speech and all. Back to reality. Yesterday's GMP quiz was nuts. It was quite difficult. However!! I did see something that I thought to be EXTINCTED in Polytechnics. And it is........... MCQ questions! Omg. I never thought I would ever see MCQs in a Poly quiz paper. LOL. Guess I am not as suay as I thought to be. Oh well, nevermind. It is over, somebody taught me to forget what is over and work harder for future papers =). I shall just do that.

I also came to realized that year 3 students are very poor things. We are so used to sleeping late in the night, like 2-3am. When the chance comes for us to sleep early, like 10.30pm or so, it makes us (or at least me) so guilty. It just seems weird that I am sleeping early today. I have this feeling that I something that I didn't do despite the fact that there is nothing to be done. Ugh.. I don't know about other people or people from other schools. But I feel this way now and I hate it a LOT.

I shall work hard, it is just for a few more weeks and I can have a short break already.. Hope it all ends soon.

As evident from what is up there, the term test timetable for this semester is out. Obviously, after looking at the timetable, there are good things and bad things.
Let's start with the bad ones first:

Why the hell are the timings for all 3 subjects so ridiculously lame?!?! 5.00pm in the evening!! Argh. That's lame. It means that on friday, I can't go out and celebrate for the full day or party around! Need to wait until after the paper, which is 6.00pm or 6.30pm. Sucks.

The next thing is that Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology should be the first paper mah. Why? Because it has calculations and I suck at it. So, Must clear the paper with calculations first. Okay maybe this 1 abit selfish on my part. Since it only applies to me. Heh heh...


The good things:

Firstly it is the fact that there is only 3 subjects luh. 3 is little as compared to BMT students (5) and my past year 1 year 2 life (5-6). The number of subjects tested is very very important. I'm sure all of you people reading this now would understand what I mean right? Needless to say, obviously the lesser the number of papers, the better!

The next good thing is. I know where is LT5 (The venue)!! Hahaha. Maybe this is a little retarded. But knowing the venue is good. Because I can afford for dily-daly and stroll to LT since I don't have to look around for it. Hahaha!


Okay. I think I should be more panicky about GMP quiz tomorrow instead of blogging about how the term test timetable sucks and all. So, Till next time people! =D

I am studying for GMP now. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Haha. It is because I was doing that in the previous post of mine. I think. Studying for GMP quiz for supposedly Friday. However, I don't know to be happy or sad. The quiz got postponed again to next Monday. This week has been postponed twice already. It was supposed to be on 18th May. But Wallace is sick on that day. So it got changed to Friday. At the last minute of Friday, if got postponed again to the following week. Haha.

I didn't post these few days was because I was too lazy to do so ah. I shall do so today then.

Thursday (21st May): It was a school day for me, but due to graduation ceremony, half of the day's lesson was cancelled. Yay! Despite that, poor PST students still had to stay back in school for project meeting for PMT as the project submission due date is the following day, Friday (22nd May). It is crazy, seeing like half of my class at the Library, and almost everybody had a laptop infront of them. We'll probably be the first table to be targeted by robbers if they're planning anything. Hahaha.


Friday (22nd May): Was supposed to have GMP quiz. But at around 11.30am, I recieved a message from Kairos saying that GMP quiz is postponed to the following week again. I was so happy then because I wasn't prepared to do the quiz yet. As a celebration, went out with friends in the afternoon. Hahaha.


Saturday: Woke up at 6.30 after only having less than 5 hours of sleep to go swim! Yay! Today was 1 man short again. This week around, QW came but YS said that he was too tired to join us. So it is 4 people again. Desmond actually came in the end. So it is 5 people instead. So damn tired after swimming, thought that I would die anytime soon. World War 5 actually happened today, but too lazy to go into the details and since it doesn't really concern me much, I shall not talk about it also.

Now at home, blogging. My body is at it's limits already. It is at the verge of breaking down. My eyes are about to close and I still have to study for GMP. That, is disgustingly boring. D:
But nevermind. Just work hard for a few more weeks and I'll have some break already! =D

Argh. Today the whole PST cohort got cheated.

The quiz today. Is a written disaster. It is not a quiz at all. It is a damn TERM TEST. Literally. The cover page wrote there, "Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology Term Test 1". WTP ! It has a freaking 10-15% weightage over the overall subject grade. No wonder it is 1hr 30mins luh. Irritated. I got shocked half dead when I saw the paper.

I honestly think that it is illegal to give students term tests before the term test week. It is totally crazy. We do not have enough time to prepare for it, and with so many projects and stuff, where are we going to find time?? It is nuts. Can I sue them? LOL! But now I am scared that this Friday's GMP will have the same outcome. *shivers*

Hmm. Today got lab. Since some of my friends are asking me what I do in science school..

Today morning was horrible. I didn't want to wake up. It felt like I'm having fever. The headache, flu, feverish feeling. Arghh.. Still struggled to go school despite that. Luckily I survived.

Decided to save money and NOT go to see a doctor, I just hope I get better soon by resting. Although having adequate rest is out of the question because I have a damn test tomorrow. There is so much to cover. Worst of all, there is.. Calculations!! Ahhhhh. If the only 1 thing I'm not gonna be good at, it's gonna be maths/calculations. In addition, I am totally out of time to practice them. I still have so many things to memorize. It's like more than 50 pages of words!! OMG! it's so much that if you put an an within the words, it would probably get lost!! Lol. Okay relax. Whew... The reason why I'm so panicky about this test is because it is of a very high weightage.

Nothing much happened today. Only the fact that i realized more and more people are getting sick nowadays. I'm even a victim myself. I don't know why. Lack of sleep maybe?

Something embarrassed happened to me today. It actually happened on the bus on the way home. The bus was really crowded, so basically everybody was squeezing.. Including me. However, I was infront of a girl who is shorter than me by half a head and she was really cute! =P We were face to face and even when we wanted turn away, it was impossble as the bus had so many people. I seriously didn't know where to look. That's only part 1. Part 2 came about as I couldn't lean backwards away from her as well. There was another girl who was behind me and she was so close to me that I could feel her just behind me even without looking. I stood there, stoned between 2 girls for like... 20 minutes. >_> Omg luh. I think I was blushing back then. The girl kept looking away as well. Ah well. No choice what. It's not like I don't want to turn away. It is because I can't mah.

Kairos and the others were commenting that I have alot of white hair that is very visible. Omg, this implies that I am awfully stressed to the max. I want to dye my hair!! I'll do it soon. I promise! Haha.

This is week 5 of the first school term. Week 5 is actually a "cursed" week for Temasek Polytechnic Students.

This is because week 5 usually have quizzes for many subjects and projects are usually due this week as well.

Let's look at my list:

1. Prepare for GMP meeting with Wallace Tuesday
2. PMT test on Wednesday (1hr 30min. Longer than a term test!!)
3. BPT lab report on Wednesday
4. PMT assignment 1 due on Friday 1pm
5. GMP test on friday (It's rumored by seniors to be worse than PMT)

5 damn things to do in 1 week. What the heck. It may look like only 5, but the quality expected from each 1 is crazy. Still think it is little? Tell me and I'll show you what is required. I'll make you eat your words.

I am going nuts. The future don't really look too well for me also. More and more projects, assignments coming my way. I need somebody to help me. Save me from this engulfing pool.

I am going to do my GMP now. Hopefully I finish early and have time to mug for GMP..

Person #11: Yani (Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

Yay! Yani! Best friend to have in the arcade. Why? Because she works at Timezone. When she's working, I get to play free games!! =P Okay fine. She's also a great friend to have in school. She is probably going to be the 2nd PCD to get her driving license. She is quite famous being the female version of Saifuldin because they look alike. Even teachers ask if they're sibilings. Haha. She was in the same CDS with me, Psychology. We always panic an hour before tutorial because we always never finish in time. Heh.. Sure brings back great memories..

Person #12: Jasmin Tan (Ex-Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

Jasmin goes back a long long way. Even longer than all 9 people before her. I known her since primary school as we were from the same school. Didn't really talk to her back then. We went to different secondary schools, but we met again for an event called Band Masters Class. It's where students from different school come together and practice as a band and finally perform for their schools and audience. We played the same instrument and hence we met again. Finally, we met again in Temasek Polytechnic and we got into the same class. Wow.. Talk about tyco. Hahaha. Jasmin is whacky with her trademark crazy laugh that goes out of control. However, she does study very hard when it comes to exams. Some may have notice that she is "EX-Pharmaceutical Science Technology" student. This is because she left TP at the end of last sem to join NAFA, a school for arts. She is a genius musician without a doubt. Hahahaha. Everybody is sad that she have to go, but all the best to her and let's all meet her one day again! =D

Saturdays are always so awesome. Because I go out with friends!! Yeah, I do that on Sundays also. But it's different. Sundays are "reality days" as it would be Monday the next day and it means a week of school again.

Nevermind. Let me blog about today.

Today was supposed to meet Sherman, YS, Daniel and QW at White Sands at 7am in the morning. We planned to go swimming at Xiao Di's house. I couldn't wake up actually, until my dad woke me up at 6.45. I was a little bit late when I reached there but I was the first to arrive (How punctual my friends are LOL). We left at around 7.45 without QW as he's still asleep. His fault for sleeping at 3am.

When we reached Simei, YS complained about being hungry because we didn't have breakfast. Quickly went to Old Chang Kee to buy something small to eat. Crazily, the auntie mistook me for a girl. Sherman, YS and Daniel were laughing their heads off when the auntie called me "Ah girl". The auntie would probably have been shocked at the fact that I'm gonna be 19 this year if I didn't wear the Temasek Poly shirt with the logo. All hail the T-shirt!!

We took bus 5 outside of eastpoint and we realized that we're on the wrong bus when the bus turned the other direction. We alighted ASAP and walked in the reversed direction to go to Xiao di's house and mind you, it's damn far. However, to kill of the boredom and with some random-ness, we created a song and even made a dance for it. Quite fun leh. Hahaha.

Super long never swim already and the water was terriblly, horribly and vegetable-ly cold. Brrrrrr. While waiting for Ryan to come and take care of our stuff, Sherman was playing around with the towel and had some bollywood action which I took a snap of. Went to CDL at around 3pm. So squeezy there. Very warm. >_>. Had dinner with the peeps and took the bus home by 8. Super tiring day but I still have to do my ridiculous projects and lab reports. This stupid lab report thing, is EVERYWEEK have. Argh. It's disgusting.

Person #9: Yap Sujun (Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

Lol. Sujun, the girl who lives in the block opposite..... Sherman not me. Hahaha. She's in the same class as me for sem 2.1 as well as in this semester. For this semester, she's in the same PMT group as I am. So it basically means we're chionging lab reports every week. Like with the rest of the PCD gang, she's also noisy and funny (maybe that's what makes the TPs PCD). A trademark of hers is, she likes to emphasize to all our 3 care person (form teacher) that she's having financial problems although she's not. At least not someone that's using a 16GB Omnia phone right? Before posting this, still was talking to her on msn about the PMT report. She's very hardworking. Out of the 3 questions that we were assigned to do, she already finish 2. Make me feel so guility. =( Sujun!! Next time don't do so fast lah!! Make me feel bad lehhh!! Hahahaha.

Person #10: Tan Meihui (Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

The Nicole Scherzinger of the TP PCD gang. Despite being the group's "leader". She's probably the leader for getting bullied. Hahaha. She's very blur. To the extent that she has a disease named after her. It's called Meihuism. Lol. It's symptoms include, severe deafness, poor memory. Lol. However, it only affects her. She's in the same class me this semester as well. Don't know is it a good thing or bad thing. I'll take it as a good thing for now. Because she would always remember to ask me if I need lecture notes whenever she prints for herself and her group. Hahaha. Hopefully her disease won't make her forget about printing notes for me ahh. =DD

Today is Friday! It's the end of the week!! Hooray!!

Had to go back to school today, although it is supposed to be no school Friday.

Went back to school and met GMP groupmates for the project. Same nonsense. Take the bus. And The pretty girl that took the same bus as me on Monday was in the bus too. Hahaha.

Was supposed to meet the group at 10am. I reached school at 9.30 and felt hungry. Went to flavours to eat and YS went along. That YS, also damn smart lah. Went to school thinking that his lesson is at 10. However, he only realized that his lesson starts at 11am when we're 1 bus stop away from TP. >_>!

Started project meeting at 10.30am and did lots of stuff. It was very productive at first, but after like 2-3 hours or so, everybody started to slow down. Hahaha. The project meeting was really long, like 4-5 hours of camping in the library. Whew.. Friends who want to find me in TP, just come to the library. Library has become my home in school. Aiya, don't so picky luh. Last year in school already..

Tomorrow I'm going to swim early in the morning! I'm gonna prepare for NAPFA. I don't want to go into army damn early. I'm gonna miss everybody. So I am determined to work hard from now! =)

Now, I'm moving on the year 2 (Semster 1). For year 2.1, I'm got separated from my usual buddies. I have to make new friends. But luckily, some people from my care group (year 1 class) was in the same class as me. However!! It's a group of 6 girls. Whoa. I tell you. At first I have no idea how to fit in luh. Anyway, Kairos refer this group as the PCD gang (PussyCat Dolls). HAHAHA! Now I'm here to blog about them. Go!!

Person #7: Ong Rui Bing (Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

I started with Redbean because she BHB. Told me on MSN to start with her first. Lol. She emphasized that I should blog the good things about her. But it's kinda hard for me leh. There's like nothing good. HAHAHA! Joking joking. Rui bing ah.. Hmmm. Something that I remember most clearly about her is that. She failed BTT (Basic Theory Test) on the first try. The whole PCD gang was laughing at her luh. Hahahaha! But now, she has already got her driving license so cannot laugh at her anymore. =P Pro luh! Very funny and noisy person. She also used to make fun of me of my birthdate also. Because she's borned in Feb and I'm borned in Dec, she always says: "Eh XJ, When I was borned, you still swimming towards the egg leh."Lol. WTH right?!?!? Hahaha! I'll never forget that joke lah.

Person #8: Zoe Tay (Pharmaceutical Science Technology)

Hahaha! I'm blogging about Zoe Tay leh!! But not that mediacorp Zoe Tay. It's the TP PCD's Zoe Tay. This Zoe is very tall for a girl. Somemore she's taller than me. That totally sucks right? Argh.. I don't wanna talk to her at first. Because I have to stand beside her if I want to talk to her. But that would make the point that she's taller than me even more obvious. Things have changed though. I'm no longer the shortest person in school like I was in primary/secondary school. So it was pretty okay to be standing near this tall person. Hahaha. Very kind person leh. At least she remembers me when she's copying tutorial luh. HAHAHA! =)

I am trying to study hard here. There is GMP quiz next monday and PMT quiz next wednesday. Argh.

The most pressing 1 would be tomorrow's BPT quiz though. Although the quiz is only 15 minutes long, but the memories of failing Bpharm due to CA is here with me and I don't want it to repeat again. I want to do very well in all my quizzes. I don't want to do poorly again. I hate the feeling. It's scary. In addition, I promised myself and friends that I would study very hard this sem and do well. So I am determined!! Memorising is not one of my strengths though and there is quite abit to remember. Oh well, late night it is!

Argh. Projects are rushing me to death. Deadlines are coming, project meeting is like omg. I got meeting tomorrow after school and meeting from friday morning onwards to don't know when. Sian.. I better get good grades for the hard work I put in or else!

Today Mr Chan was quite funny. Tried to bring us up to heaven, but threw us back down to earth in an instant.

Mr Chan:" Class, are you all able to cope with the PMT assignment?"
Class:" No!!"
Mr Chan:" Hmm.. Do you all need more time to do the assignment?"
Class:" Yes!!"
Mr Chan:" Alright, I shall extend the deadline for project submittion by..."

Lol. Extended deadline by an hour. Somemore is use one of the tutorial hour in the timetable to do the assignment. What a great help eh?

Xperia is kinda irritating leh. Not as in the functions or what. It's just that, being a phone operating under Windows Mobile, it cannot read Chinese characters! All my Chinese song titles in the phone either becomes some unreadable language or it just becomes squares. I want to download the Chinese software but I can't find it. Anybody knows where to download? Let me know leh. You will be thanked to the uber most! Haha.

Tomorrow shall wear cap! Because tomorrow going to clean room = Spacesuit = Messy/flat hair. So I shall wear cap tomorrow!! =)

Hardworking fellow. Diligent, quite chiong for projects. Presentation done very well. Presents everything very professionally until I scared. Hahaha! Although we're in the same course, but we didn't get to be in the same tutorial class during year 2 as we chose different electives. However, fate has brought us back again and we're in the same class now in year 3. Haha! He is in my BPT group and the leader as well somemore!! Yay!!

Hmm. Jun You didn't really hang out with me and the previous 5 people during year 1. But seeing that he's in our care group and the previous 5 are all guys, I'll continue with guys luh. Hoho. Very cartoon person, does things that are super crazy and random. But nevermind, that's his style. Haha! A friend who is concerned for everybody and would not hestitate to give you a helping hand if you need one. Likewise for Zul, Jun You was not in the same class as me for year 2.2 as we were taking different electives, but we're now in the same class in year 3! =D This year, he just showed me. He's playing Pokemon with his handphone. Cool ah!! Hahahaha!

Opps. I have a confession to make. I skipped lecture for the first time in my year 3 life. =/

But ahhh, I got reasons for skipping it!

Number 1: Kiki wanted to meet to do GMP project since we're not exactly ahead or on schedule. Probably because we slacked too much. Hahaha. So I decided to skip lecture and go do GMP project after much persuasion by Kiki (negative peer influence!! =P).

Number 2: Today's lecture was BPT and BPT lectures are very dry. The teacher's accent makes it more difficult to understand and makes me want to sleep even more. Micro-organisms --> Micro-orgasms. This is one of funnier ones. But can't really blame the teacher since he's not from Singapore and accent is not avoidable. But you people get the point. Haha.

Okay lah. Skipping it was worth it cause Kairos say it was boring and nothing important was taught and Kiki and me did produce something in the 2 hours. Quite productive luh. Hahaha.

I noticed something today. Year 1 students don't know come to school so study, or to do fashion show. Their attire is like zomg. So many different pattern 1 lo. A big group of year 1 girls walked past me today at concourse. All different type of attire. T-shirt, jeans, tights, dress, mini-skirt. You name it, they wear it. lol. I wonder if I was like that in year 1. Hmm.. Hahaha.

If you're talking about my year 1 poly life, It's impossible not to mention about this guy. The point "looks can be deceiving" is created for him. He looks like a typical good boy. However, the impression change when he starts to talk. *&#@(%&(@*&^&*%(*. Seeing that there are children under 18 (you know who you are, I am refering to YOU! Haha!) reading my blog, I don't want to type out what he actually says. You get the point. Also another anchor for laughter in the group with his fantastic vocabulary of words and jokes. Don't get to see him very often nowadays though. Kinda sad. Missed the Laughter. Hahaha!

Person #4: Ashley David Rowe (Biotechnology)

The ah moh of the group. If you're unsure about his gender, yes I used his. He's a guy. He's a hardcore gamer. Wherever he is, you will never fail to find him without his PSP. He has 3-4 spoiled PSPs already (wonder what he does to them at home). This guy is imbal-ly smart also. Plays PSP during lectures/tutorials/everywhere. But he still gets into the director's list. How on earth does he do that man. Hahaha. For some reason, he is pretty lazy as well but does so well for exams. Hmm.. I wonder..

Alright. I need to go take a look at my PMT tutorial that Mr Chan is going through tomorrow. At least I need to attempt the questions mah. Bye!

I am super tired. Super exhausted. I need a break. I seriously need a break.

I know I have said it before about how school actually sucks and all. But I kinda realized like sherman did, 1 month ago I said I missed school and apparently 1 month later, I am cursing school to the core.

I also think that there are a lot of year 1 students this year that lives in Pasir Ris area because this year, the queue for the bus is very long. When I say very, I mean it. I don't see queue that is this long for my last 2 years but it is ridiculously long for this year.

Bus ride to school today is normal. Except for a small bit. According to Ye Siang, there was a pretty girl standing behind me. How fantastic a friend he is, only telling me AFTER we alight the bus. Awww. Nevermind, I actually noticed her when I board the bus. I have a natural talent for spotting pretty girls eh. Hahaha! Too bad, if not I could have ask for the number if YS actually mentioned. Haha.

A very boring day of lecture in school again, even more today as people from other schools/institute do not have school. **Oh yes, special point to note here. After knowing some people from JC is expectionally hardworking and went back to school today, I would like to exclude my JC friends from the whining list of no school today. Haha!**

Met Sherman after school today went to 201 and eat. Sherman discovered a mee goreng stall that sells cheap food and still tasty!! (At least for him and me) Yay! Means next time go there got 1 more option to choose from!!

Start of a new week, week 4 to be exact. Amazing how time flies despite the fact that I am not having fun. Already 1 month since school started but it seriously feels like 1st or 2nd week only. Oh well, I should look forward and not backwards right? *Tries to be optimistic*

I changed my EZ-link card today!! I don't really like the new EZ-link card. It looks like some cheapskate card made of cardboard. I like the old one better. I would like to make a point to YS. EH YS!! I changed my EZ-link leh. TODAY!! 11th MAY! HAHAHAHA

Oh yeah I actually quite into the idea of blogging my life at TP. The fun, friends, crazyness in school. For today, I would probably start with year 1 and the group of crazy friends I made.

Year 1:

Super-blur, gets lost in TP, can't find the classroom/lecture hall and here I am now laughing at people getting lost in TP. Hoho.

Person #1: Sherman Lim Yi-Heng (Biomedical Technology)

Let's see, this guy... What to say about him?? He's like a whole package. Funny, smart, hardworking, interesting, crazy, whacky. Everything in 1. What more to ask for in a friend? One of the first few friends I actually made in poly. Been there always, my ups downs lefts rights. Oh whatever. He is really smart, and has amazing memory power. Amazing to the extent that I am shocked. I have seen it for myself and I am impressed, seriously. The only thing that I probably have an edge over him is my chinese is better than him. LOL! Did I mention that he's a magician as well? He performs leh!! All those people that don't know him, be jealous! Don't you think I am cool to have a professional magician as a classmate/friend? HAHAHA!! Honestly, great buddy to have in school. Life is never boring with him around!

Person #2: Low Wei Qi Kenneth (Biomedical Technology)

Ah Kenneth. Typical Ah beng. Although he keeps saying he's not. Okay lah. Maybe he's not. But his fashion sense is like ah beng without a doubt. He even looks like one. But I think alot of girls like ah beng leh. Apparently, all girls usually flock to him when he's around. Haha. Nevermind, although I don't get attention, I get to look at pretty girls. Consolation prize lah. Haha! Always like to make fun of Sherman, I have no idea why. I got a equation for this. (kenneth + sherman during lecture = Laughter non-stop) It is really amusing to listen to the 2 of them quarrel. Hahaha. Kenneth also tries to act guai, notice I use the word TRIES. He doesn't scold people, he just goes "I Phuck You." Hahahahahaha.

I shall go 2 for today, since I have a whole lot of work to be done. For people who want to know more about my life in poly, keep reading the next time I update. Who knows? Maybe I may move out of TP and the next person I blog about is YOU! LOL.

Anyway, did go to Sherman's house though. Alot of people went in fact. Hahaha. Seriously, Sherman's room is messy. How can a guy's room be tidy though? So it is forgivable as I am gulity as well. We helped him to tidy it A LITTLE BIT, very little in fact. No matter how many times I see his room, I am still fascinated by his collection of legos. I think there is like 197 already, if I hear him correctly.

I am still whiny about the fact that I have school tomorrow and others don't. It's not fair. Boo..

Today is Sunday. Tomorrow is Monday. Boooo. School starts again tomorrow. Boring lah!!

This is unfair. Primary, Secondary, JC students all get a "make-up" public holiday for yesterday's Vesak day. Why Poly students don't get it!! =( *Whines at all his Primary, Secondary, JC friends*

Argh.. Whatever. Should get used to it already. Poly students don't even get Youth day holiday already despite we being the most suitable to be regarded as Youths along with JC students.

Today's weather was fantastic ah. Rain so heavily in the morning, so condusive for sleeping. Remember having several weird dreams, but forget what happened exactly already. Hahaha. Like always, sleep until so happy, my mom have got to wake me up. But making a din in my room. *Bing Bing Bong Bong* Wake Up already!! It's already 12pm! Sleep and Sleep only!!

Actually didn't want to wake up but she off the aircon, became a little too warm for sleeping already. lol. So no choice. Although I must admit, I do have quite a life though. After waking up and wash face brush teeth the usual stuff, Within 10 minutes, my dad is back with lunch!! Talk about efficient!! Feel like a prince like that!! or maybe not lah. Hahaha!!

I don't know should I go out today, or stay at home to do GMP. GMP is plain crazy. A 3CU subject, but the workload given makes it feel like 678782394875 CUs. Wallace still can smile and tell us to love GMP >_>!

Miss Ler talked to me about school on MSN. I am touched that she still remembers our class even after leaving school. Of course, all of us miss her alot as well. All the laughter, jokes and classes we have with her. She was and still is a amazing teacher to me. I will always remember!!

Ah it is Thursday. This means that it is the start of the weekends for me as I do not have school on Fridays. Finally, sometime to rest and have a little bit of fun after suffering in school. Ironically, I hate Thursdays more than any other day despite it being the last day of school of the week for me.

Why?

Firstly, there is crazy Bioprocess Technology (BPT) tutorial. What's so crazy about it? Nothing. It's the teacher. The teacher made us look like idiots!! He was supposed to go through the tutorial answers but instead, he went to teach us things that we already know all over again. For refresh our memory you say? I believe you people that read this know that 1kg is equals to 1000g? Yes, he taught us that. He still say cm X cm X cm = cm3. >_>. Next, he teach us that. Density is equals to mass/volume. We learnt that in secondary school physics. What is the worse is that. He talked about the atomic and relative atomic mass and wrote on the board that Mr of H2 (2 moles of hydrogen) = 1 (Ar) x 2 (number of moles) = 1!!! OMG!?! 1 x 2 = 1?!?!?! Whoaaa!! The whole class almost fainted. But out of respect, we still listened to his lesson. Hahaha.

Next, it's spacesuit lab day!! Singapore is super warm as we know it. During this lab, we have to wear full jump suit with shoe covers and all. Somemore need to wear jeans. =( I think I may get heatstroke sooner or later. lol. The face mask also interfer with our breathing. Breathing is so damn hard with the mask and we're not allowed to take it out. What the hell. Also everyweek got report to do. Report report report. Reports are totally not my strong points. Argh. Nevermind it's over for this week. =P

I am feeling better now, no more feeling feverish but still with the flu and headache around. Zzz. I am super duper lack of sleep. =/

Oh yes, the WHO level got changed down to yellow color. Therefore, there is still no more temperature taking for individuals already! No more "dots"! Hahaha.

I am sure everybody remembers the SARS period from 6 years ago. With the free 1 month holiday due to no apparent reason (that was what I though, it did eat into my June holidays in the end). During that period of time 6 years ago, I was in secondary one. For those people who are younger than me, you were probably in primary school. Count yourself, my age - yours. Hahahaha.

Also remember the boring temperature taking exercise that we have to do everyday and after recess? Yes, that. I am required to do that in Temasek Polytechnic as well.

Being a super big school, we have to queue up to get our temperature taken by the health screening officer. It was ridiculously long and the concourse was flooded with people. Irritating. After you pass the temperature taking and proven that you don't have fever, the officer would then give you a coloured round sticker (I'll refer it as a dot from now on) and you have to paste it on you to indicate that you're "clear". lol. But seriously, I don't really see the point of doing this. According to observations and studies, it has been shown that influenza A is *some-chim-word-here*. I forgot how to spell it. But basically it just means that H1N1 can spread even before symptoms like fever, flu start to show. So, who knows maybe I am not having a fever now but I am spreading the virus already. Sure it does help to a certain extend, but it's not that useful. Oh well, since the school wants it, we'll just go along with it. Haha.

Now, security is so strict in the school, if you do not have a "dot" with you, you will be stopped and be asked questions. And XJ, being blur for once, was rushing to the library from my school to get notes from my friends. However!!! I didn't notice that I lost the dot I got in the morning. So the security guard actually didn't let me go through. I had to run back to ASc, "borrow" a dot from my friend and run back again. Argh... I was actually too darn lazy to do that, but for the sake of the notes. -.-

Recently, I am not chatting much online on MSN already. Due to the crazy workload that I have this semster. I am drained out. Totally. Hope I can faster finish them all and get back to my LLL (Lazy Little Life). So people, be honoured if I reply your message!! I took off my precious time to reply!! LOL! =P

According to updates from Temasek Polytechnic, The "Swine flu" is not really the swine flu that everybody think it is. It is wrongly labeled. It is actually called influenza A, H1N1 virus strain. Why is it called Influenza? I have no idea. What does the codename H1N1 means? I know no clue either. I am a science student, not a science genius. LOL. All I know is that it is made up by parts of swine, avian (bird) and human DNA. What a monster... My grandmother also damn cute luh. Ask me why is it type A, how they know, what about type B, C and so on. How I know sia.


7 People have been quarantined in Hong Kong and luckily, my parents were not quarantined and they're back in Singapore! This means that there is gonna be people waking me up for school from tomorrow onwards!!

They reached home at around 7.10+, abit earlier than I did. They were unpacking stuff already when I reached home. As usual, I hear my mom screaming at my little brother before even reaching my front door. Hahaha.

When I asked about their trip, they said it was pretty fun and the sight-seeing were really good. They even got to see Jackie Chan's house!! It was on top of a mountain and was damn big!! It even had a helicopter landing port at the rooftop!! Whoa!! How cool is that!! They still told me about other places that was nice and they went shopping.. For presents!!

Hahahaha. They remembered to buy presents!! I got a new jacket and wallet!! Just like my parents to know that my wallet abit buang already.. Sure cost them a bomb when I looked at the brands. LOL. Oh well. I am happy that I got presents. I think they should go overseas more often.

As usual, school is a horror with the projects, assignments.. (How many times have I complained about this?) Sure missed my secondary school times now. I just realised that despite Wallace being a fantastic teacher, his presence kinda scares me. Excellent. Don't ask why, I don't know. Time is short and I'm chionging projects like there is no tomorrow. Reading, researching, typing, arghh. It is just plain stupid. If you people would see me in my house, you'll probably think I am a freak with all the notes on the table. Plainly, school sucks. I want to sleep. The lecture halls always have such hypnotic powers.. I tend to fall asleep whenever I go into the lecture hall unless I can do something like eat something or msg people. So people, feel free to message me if you're bored because I am most probably feeling that way also. HAHAHAHA.

I feeling feverish now. I think I should go get some sleep already. So I am going off already. Bye!!!

I'm damn sleepy now. I am having a bad headache as well.

I can't sleep, because I still have research for GMP project to do. I don't know how many times I have yawned while doing research and sources seemed so hard to find.

My eyes are going to close already.

Come to think of it,

Why diseases exist?

If they don't, people can live longer.
If they don't, people won't have to die of them.
If they don't, doctors would not be a profession.
If they don't, SARS Bird Flu Swine flu would not exist also.
If they don't, I would not have to study manufacturing of drugs.
If they don't, I would not have to do ridiculous projects asking me to find 1001 drugs.

However..

If they don't, what am I going to study?
If they don't, what are the doctors gonna become?
If they don't, how would people know that plants have healing properties?
If they don't, who would have discovered bacteria/virus?

So.. are diseases good or bad? I don't know. What do you think? I'm tired. This feels like a joke to me. I am at my limits. Where is the remover for my limits so that I will survive? I think I am falling sick soon. I feel very... sickish. Zzz.

Okay. I'm really very tired. I slept at 3am and woke at 9am to do projects. I seriously hope I can finish it soon so that I can take a nap.

Come to think of it, today is the 3rd of May. This means that in another day, my parents will be back from Hong Kong. This few days have been free from nagging, scolding and whining but still, them being around feels much safer. Haha.

I sure hope they're fine. There has been a reported incident of swine flu in Hong Kong and the whole hotel has been quarantined. Hopefully they're not staying at the quarantined hotel. I wish they remembered to bring presents. Hahaha!!

I am still not very well.. The headache subsided after sleeping but I am still coughing frequently. In addition, I'm hungry. I think I shall go cook maggie noodles later. Sure wished my dad was around to drive me out to have lunch instead of having maggie noodles. -.-

My grandmother came over to my house today. She has been "tasked" by my mom to come and take care of us. But apparently, we're old enough to take care of ourselves already so I don't see the point asking my grandmother to take care of us. Maybe this puts my mom's mind at ease. So let her be then.

I am super tired! Why can't 1 day have 48 hours? Then i shall sleep for 24!! *Yawns*
