Alright, after the blessings, here comes the whining..


I still want to whine about why Lonza is at freaking Tuas!?!?! It's like super duper far despite the fact that my dad drives me there okay!! My trips to Tuas and back from Tuas is usually used as my naptime!

Attachment is freaking exhausting. I'm so tired already. I need to spend my pocket money on toothpicks now to be able to keep my eyes open when I'm working lah!!
Documentum, which is the program that I use for loading of GMP documents, is freaking slow luh!! Yeah I can't blame it cause it uses a foreign server, but still. it's slow. Every thing I press has a like 5-10second waiting time.

I did around 20ish documents today, and that took up my whole day. Yes, 8.00am to 5.00pm (Including one hour break). Arghhhhh. D:

However, looking on the bright side, it's Thursday already. That means tomorrow is the last day of working!! Yay!!

I have been sleeping early recently, like 11.00pm. Does that count as early? Hahaha.



Not much to blog now, I think I should stop for now. Maybe I'll blog again soon!!! Haha.

I haven't been blogging over the week. I'm really too tired to blog. Sleeping at 11pm and waking up at 6am to go to Tuas for a week really doesn't suit me. Nevertheless, I still have to do it, don't I?

Many things happened during work since the last time I blogged and I'll probably blog most of them since I'm so bored now.

Tuesday (8th Sept):
Learned how to use GMP documentation program. The work is really tedious, but it is for safety purposes. So I guess we don't have much of a choice but to abide to it. The company's CEO came to the plant to attend the ground-breaking ceremony of the opening of the cell therapy plant. If I remembered correctly, it's the first of it's kind in Asia. This was featured on the news on Tuesday. Quite a number of VIPs came, including several CEOs of other companies and a Minister. With all the events, time flew by quite quickly..


Wednesday (9th Sept):
This day is a special day, according to people around me. because it's 090909. Lol. Continued to learn the things I was required to do from "Senior Intern", Farah. She is finishing her Internship on Friday (11th Sept). Therefore, I must learn as much as possible from her so that I won't be overwhelmed on Monday when she's not around. In addition, Mango and I dug for SOPs to read to prepare for something called "Change Agent" Training, which is on Friday. On this day, we also got to know that there would be a dinner party on 12thDec, all staff, contractors and Interns are invited to go and they're allowed to bring one guest each. It's at... Singapore F1 something building and it's premier suite. Mango pestered me to go with her, so I guess I don't have a choice since my supervisors asked me as well. Since I'm allowed to bring ONE person there as my guest, I think I'll look for somebody. So who wants to be my date? Registration starts now. HAHA!


Thursday (10th Sept):
I got to know the topic of my major project and my, it's gonna be fun, I think. By this day, Mango and I found out that the cookies in the Pantry is really nice!! It's addictive okay! Lmao. The day was again, reading more SOPs and trying out documentation hands-on ourselves. You would probably see us writing down all the steps in our little "SOP" book. It's really messy now. Hahaha.


Friday (11th Sept):
First off, Happy Birthday to Meihui!! She's 19 already! Blah Old!!! HAHA. Not much different to what I was doing at work, it's pretty much repeating and repeating. But Friday is Special, because we get free lunch! Lols. This week is Subway. According to Farah, previous 2 weeks was Pizza hut!! Cool right!! I'm really looking forward to this coming Friday. =P It was a sad day as well, as it was Farah's last day as an Intern. Despite being with us for only one week, I think I made an awesome friend during work!! Hahaha. Nearing the end of the day, it was cam-whoring for Farah, as she wants her memories to be kept.. Looking at her makes me think.. when is it my turn.. Lol.



Forget her, Forget her, Forget her. That's what I'm trying to do. It's easier said than done. I give up already. If she's inside my head and I can't get her out, so be it. I'm leaving it as it is.

Today is my first day of being attached to Lonza Biologics Tuas Pte Ltd for internship.

I need to wake up extremely early in the morning, like 6am in order to go for work on time. And that's when my dad is fetching me to work. Just imagine that I had to go take train due to unforeseen circumstances. Imagine the time I have to wake up!!

After reaching there, we were told whether if we were posted to Lonza Biologics or Genentech. Luckily, Mango, Richang and I were posted to the same place, Lonza. In addition, there were 2 other students that we got to meet and know. Azhar and Esther, who are both from NYP.

There were so many forms we had to fill in, in order to give the company our personal particulars and all, so that they can prepare stuff that we need during our internship there. At the end, the 5 of us got separated as Richang and Azhar were posted to Quality Control(QC) department, Mango and I got posted to Quality Assurance(QA) department and Esther got posted to Safety, something something(SHE), I forgot the last part. Lol.

Our supervisor, brought us around to introduce ourselves to the staff there as we would be staying for like... 5 months. One of the staff actually had the same name and look very similar to Long-Sao. LOL! I was stunned for a moment there. Hahaha.

We were provided with some stuff. Stationary, Company Jacket, Staff Pass, Personal Desk, Computer, Our own staff Email. Yay!

We had GMP training today, in order to let us understand what is GMP, why is it needed, used for and so on. There are many things to follow, even a simple task of filling in a form. It's the first time I felt so nervous while filling a form. =O Apart from that, we read many many Standard Operating Procedures(SOPs). One of it even had like 67 pages!! Ahhhh. I actually wanted to do take some pictures, but due to confidentiality issues, I cannot. I did take a picture of the jacket and staff pass though. Mango will tag me on facebook. Hahaha. Blogger screwed up, I can't post it here. =/


It was a pretty cool first day for me, being able to see GMP come alive where I'll be in real-life situations. It would be different from school, but it's a awesome learning experience I hope! =D

SIP (Student Internship Program) is starting in less than 24 hours. Now that's urgent. I'm nervous over what to do when I get there, will I meet nice people to work with, and what to do for my Major project.

And. With that stress, my mom is throwing her tantrum. This is ridiculous. She's giving everybody in the house attitude over something stupid that my Dad said. Now she left the house, never tell where she going and all. This is plain dumb, she has to do stunt when it is one day before my SIP. To think I told her that I am stressed over SIP and this is what she does to help. Fantastic. Just fantastic.

I have been confirmed to be posted to Lonza Biologics Singapore Pte Ltd, located in Tuas. I asked Miss Hor during the day that I did my NAPFA. According to what I know, it is a manufacturing plant for drug products. But why does it have to be located in Tuas? Why am I even posted there?! I live in Pasir Ris!!! That is like traveling from one end of Singapore to another, everyday!! Urgh. Please let me have fun there! For some reason, I think I will. LOL! At least I got 2 other friends who got posted to Lonza with me too, Mango and Richang. Please let us get allocated to the same department or whatever. Or else I think my first 2 weeks of lunch will be very lonely. >_>



Now to let off what I have to say.

Yes, making a fuss over a game is stupid. Yes, everybody have differences. Yes, we have 2 of the best characters on our team. Yes, we have an advantage over the opponent because it's 4 versus 5.

But before you think about anything, take a look at the opponent's team first. Desmond, Desmond's bro, Alex, QW and BJ. Technically if you count out Desmond who DC-ed, there are 3 pros in the team. Then you come back to look at ours. Me, Bradley, Bradley's Cousin, Kai, YS. Counting pros, there is only 1. So what we have the better heroes? A player's skill counts a whole lot more. I'm not pro I know. That is exactly why I'm playing. I'm trying to learn and get better.

Now go think over what you said. "4v5 still can lose. Because of Idiotic Mistakes". Are you trying to imply that everybody is an idiot? I know we aren't pros but I am sure that doesn't count us as idiots. Everybody makes mistakes, as somebody who is better, you should be teaching or correcting them. Not direct insult in their faces.

I'm better at the Arcade because I started earlier, had a lot more practice. I take time to teach you play Basketball, Jubeat, Daytona. I tell you tricks that I know of, or tips that I know can work to help you get better. Now, I don't scold you or imply that you're an idiot because you make mistakes right? I don't say that you're an idiot because you can't drift pass a corner that I can in Daytona. Neither do I say that you are a dumb ass because you missed a note that I could hit in Jubeat. In actual fact, I correct them and help you get better because that's what everybody I taught would like.

Humans have feelings and apparently I am one if you didn't really notice. Nobody likes to be called an idiot over mistakes. Mistakes are meant to be learned from, not tools for you to use to scold people. Jokes are fine. We're friends and we can laugh it off. But remember to think about what you're gonna say out because insults affect people more than you can think. It hurts people's feelings and not to add it makes them piss off.

Yes, this post is a random one.

I'm at home and having absolutely nothing to do at the moment. The urge just came to me and asked me to blog.

Despite that, I have no idea what I am going to blog about leh. HAHAHA.

I actually wanted to upload the pictures that were taken all the way back since the last day of school to the chalet me and the PST peeps had last week. But there are so many pictures to upload and I am just too damn lazy. Hahaha. Moreover, most of the pictures are in my facebook already. Din and the rest tagged me. Lol.

Yes, Napfa was yesterday. It was horrible to an extent and cool to another. Lemme start with the horrible one first. Super exhausting. To the max. Given that I haven't ran since after Secondary 4's Napfa except when I'm chasing after the bus/train, 2.4km run was a torture. 6 rounds around the stadium feels like it's never going to end. I think the track has some hidden power or something like that. Every step you take, the track will suck your soul through your feet and you will feel that it's getting heavier and heavier. Yeah I know it's nonsense, it's just feeling tired but yeah, you get the point. LOL. I came in rank 17th in around 70ish people. Oh well.. Standing Broad Jump I'll not want to talk about it. Due to some cock-eye-ness, I didn't do well for it. 217cm only.

The cool things are, I haven't trained for Napfa, but I actually can do pull-ups. I did 5, which could give me a silver. This is as compared to when I was in Secondary 4, where I could only do 1 to pass. And I needed a jumping start. Heh. I think shooting baskets in the Arcade trained my arms (according to YeSiang. Hahahaha). Next, Sit-up was a breeze. Since we all do it everyday. At least one. When you wake up. RIGHT SHERMAN!?!? HAHAHA. I did 51. Although my stomach kinda hurt after that.

Shuttle run is done on the track. I wanted to make sure I did well, since it's just running. But when it was my turn, BoonPin told me must maintain your appearance, so I didn't really chiong too crazily. I thought I would get some ridiculous score but turns out I got an A, 10.1seconds. (<10.2s is an A).

I think I would have to take Napfa again in Jan. Hopefully I can do well then don't need to go in Army for extra 3 months. Yay!!

Later I'm going to Cine for K-box sessions with... BoonPin, SuJun, Meihui, Agnes, Crystal? I think. So I should go have my lunch now!! Cya all! =D (And For Goodness, if you guys are reading. Tag lah! )
