Respect.. 10:01 PM
I have recently lost respect for some people.
I totally despise despicable people. I tried to be nice, refusing to listen to my friends comments and not trust you all that much. I tried to explain to my friends, saying how nice you all were and are not as bad as it seems. I did my best to know you all better, becoming friends.
And I got backstabbed. Straight in the back. Without a clue what was going on.
I put this out to people who backstabs or tries to irritate me.
Stop it.
It is childish, and it is getting on my nerves.
I don't like it at all.
Not when my true friends are also affected by your little lame stunts.
I hate to see my friends sad and your doings are not helping at all.
Continue your acts if you must,
but leave my friends out of it.
I promise that I won't give face again if such things happen again.
I WILL make you suffer.
That aside, I have also just found new respect for somebody!!
Mr U Tin Lin! (My Bioprocess Technology lecturer)
Honestly speaking, I actually have quite a hard time listening during his lecture at the beginning due to his accent. I would be either busy laughing, or get bored until I doze off to dreamland.
However, I realized that his life is unbelievably cool!! He has been teaching in Temasek Polytechnic for 10 years already! That means that when he started teaching in poly, I am a mere PRIMARY 3 student where I am still learning multiplication and division!
He got his Master's degree in chemical engineering (I think) in Melbourne University, at Australia in 1988. He got his Master's degree before I was borned. Whoa.
He has also been teaching for 26 years, in Universities and Polytechnics. Amongst the 3000++ chemical engineers who are working in Singapore, around 70% of them are actually taught by him!! Like 2100!!! OMG. It would be cool if next time if I became a bioprocess engineer and I find somebody who is also taught by Mr U as well!
He was also kind enough to help us with measuring the results from today's lab tomorrow because nobody wanted to go back to school tomorrow (we have no school).
I now think he's a kind and awesome lecturer!! I will study hard for BPT!! Must not disappoint him. Currently, there are no failures for BPT. I don't want to be the one to break that 0.
Haha.
I realized my butt aches now from the badminton session yesterday. Not my arms or legs, but my butt. I think it is because I swim every week. Therefore, my arm and leg muscles are not aching. I need to recommend myself to take "butt"-nadol. Panadol for the butt. lol!!
