I have fallen sick.

Nope, not love sick. But as in, fever sick.

My body finally reached it's limits. Surviving on only 4-5 hours of sleep everyday for the past 9 months. I didn't really see this coming, maybe the long day on Friday-Saturday aggravated the problem. I stayed awake for 22 hours on Saturday. I slept at 1.30am on Friday night, waking up at 6.30am to go swimming with Sherman and the rest. Was already feeling very tired and felt asleep at JJ. At night was Rui en's birthday party at kky's house and only left there at 3.45am due to my mom playing Mahjong. Reached home at 4.15am and only dozed off at 4.30am or so. Totally didn't sleep well at all and was woken up by my mom to eat at 11.

When I woke up, I felt horrible with sore throat and drinking lots of water doesn't seemed to help. The fever came at night when I reached home. Went to sleep early, although it wasn't a good night's sleep, waking up every now and then.

I wanted to be socially responsible and not go to school, but my mom still pestered me to go because I have GMP quiz today. The fever medicine helped as my body temperature went down but the fever came back after the quiz and I was chased home by Kairos and the rest of them, asking me to go back and rest. I didn't go home, but met mom to go see doctor.

I actually thought that I contacted Dengue Fever because I had sore throat, my fever comes and goes, headache and feeling very cold. In addition, I got bitten by a mosquito recently.

Consultation with the doctor was quite fast, thanks to IPT from last semester!

Doc: So hello Xiangjie, what seems to be the problem.
XJ: Eh.. I have... Sore Throat, Fever, Cough, runny nose, headache. My cough has phlegm, and it started on Saturday. Am I gonna die from H1N1?
Doc: Haha, don't worry. Let me take your temperature now.

My consultation took less than 5 minutes. Saved me lots of time by answering all questions that doc would ask. Hahaha.

Fortunately, he told me that I only had the common flu (although all cases start like that). And he's evil. He refuses to give me syrup and gave me tablets. I hate swallowing tablets. He said that syrup are for babies. Zzz.

I have 6 medications to use. Omg, I feel like the 2nd Michael Jackson now. Don't be surprised if you find me dying of cardiac arrest. LOL. Still, medicine are all gross.

There is PA term test tomorrow and I haven't really prepared for it yet. I don't even know where the notes are. I need to dig it out and study it today or else I am gonna die for my test tomorrow.

For now, let me do my APEL reflections first..
